deine beiden Bilder lassen mich an loneliness denken … lassen mich melancholisch zurück …

    herzlichst Ulli

A beautiful combination of elements in this diptych

I wish you happy shooting in 2014

Gitanes… many memories for me though I didn’t smoke them. What did I do with these Gipsy women? Can I tell it? My mind’s a little bit confused.
And on the other shot, there’s a glass looking almost full of beer. I can’t drink alcohol for six months. In fact it is now only three months! Tobacco and alcohol at this turning point of the calendar, not necessary a comfortable moment of the year for different kind of reasons…
The night is warm whiskey, that’s something I’ve felt many times in my life, Florian. As well as the bitter wind of the morning, when waking alone I had to face a lot of worries. C’est la vie.
A good diptych to begin the year, my friend. Slowly as it is needed.

    A beautiful combination shot!

  6. ay, Fritsch, buddy, don’t we know the feeling of promise and Saturday nighttime joy before those Sunday mornings come down and we to tumble out of bed in our cleanest dirty shirts ….

great work – here’s to the ladies, pal!

    Hepp!

In diesem Sinne „happy shooting in 2014“.
    Gruß, Uwe

well, i seem to prefer to be up at night… i think i am just gaurding myself, because in the words of ’newt‘ in aliens…. ‚they mostly come at night… mostly‘

i ordered a snifter of brandy tonight when i was out though, and it had two fruit flies who died for their passionate tryst, in the whiskey of night :)

perhaps the whiskey keeps the night warmer, but in the morning there is no evading the cold. Here’s to a new year of rambling and roving and photographing !

Cold nights, a lonely heart, a temporary haven…and then the realization that the lonely heart is still cold and alone. The sun shines harshly on that fact. We all act that out at some point in life.
Your black and whites make that cold night seem even more real.
I’m shivering on the inside now. :)
