songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

circled the globe, spent a year on the road

© Jahrhunderthalle, Frankfurt-Hoechst 2012 by Fritsch

Well, the songs you sung spiraled and hung round like echoes or ripples on a pond / So you circled the globe, spent a year on the road without ever going home / More than a couple of days then you leave right away, run to a girl you barely know / But you like how she sings and you can’t help but think that there’s something that she knows and could teach you (Bright Eyes)

i like the symetry and the concrete parking(?), makes for an abandoned feeling.

Geodesic domes seem to „fit“ the earth better than standard rooflines. They touch it gently and mimic the surface shape. They also seem to be a bit aloof from other structures. I’ve enjoyed seeing these photos of your journeys. They take me to places I will never see.

Hello Baby, it was my birthday yesterday, you didn’t come kiss my new puppy… i like your picture, my parents almost bought a dome home when i was young, would have been cool, then as now…

Rectangles and circles and hexagons and spheres and more and more geometrical patterns, all this is part of this strengthful picture of yours, Florian, but there’s something more: the way you framed it, your very special way of composing, your very special way of making it black and white, alloting almost half of the image to the ground and its very rich shades. That’s what gives us such a powerful vision about our world, its mundane elements as well as its architectural feats.
Well, I’m back in vTown and couldn’t help looking fast at all your pictures I missed during this last month. I’ll go back in the next days to look at them closer.
    Abraços.

Okay Florian I shall add the word „SEXY“ to this depiction (HA!)… „Robotic Essence“ roar out loud plus so much so the „Divisional & Space“ – Artsy artistry.

Ich kann mich Francis nur anschließen. –

  8. What graphics! The details are beautiful on a beautiful symmetry. You might read the same comments will all be the same … but it’s so beautiful, Florian!

  9. ay, Fritsch, another gem of perfect composition, perfect symmetry and perfect texture. it’s almost as if it’s possible to feel the ground through the screen ….

an interesting pairing of lyrics too, btw!

    great work!

    eyes on the road, pal!

    Hepp!

well then keep circling, take us around those lines and curves all over, until beginnings are ending and ending are beginnings
