Wunderbar, wie hier zwischen uns und dem Motiv eine Membran gebracht wird: Wir stehen im Dunkeln eines Innenraums und sehen durch ein quadratisch gerastertes Fenster auf die prominente Bauhaus-Architektur in Dessau, die genauso geometrisch streng, klar und puristisch erscheint wie die Komposition des Fotos selbst. Der Blick durch ein solcherart unterteiltes Fenster atomisiert und vervielfacht das Motiv zugleich, denn in jedem kleinen Glasgeviert ist ein anderer Teil des Ganzen zu sehen, fast wie bei einem Puzzle. Das Motiv behält aber seine optische Logik, da das Raster des Fensters dem Bauprinzip des Moduls entspricht, wie es am Bauhaus praktiziert wurde. Insofern zeigt das Foto nicht nur die Architektur, sondern auch die formalen Mittel, die ihre Struktur bestimmen. Gruß, Uwe
Mehr als ein Bild im Bild, das Fenster zum Hof, ein grosses Puzzle voller kleiner Bilder und jedes davon trägt zum Gesamtbild bei. Ein faszinierendes Bild das zum Verweilen einlädt um die einzelnen Teile in aller Ruhe genauer zu Betrachten.

So many lines to play with. To play? Looking thru this window, for what it’s looking at? Nothing sure here though your composition is pretty sure.
Impossible for me not to think to the Bauhaus‘ history. That’s one way among others to travel. But for what trip?
Today, Florian, I’m doubtful. Today like every day, anyway. Or should I be today yet more doubtful?
And looking at it again, I can’t stop thinking of the black space you kept on the upper part of the picture. Meaningful to me, but I may be wrong, I may overinterpret the things I see. That’s part of my doubtful thoughts, anyway.

It’s all about the „parts“… then the „completeness“… Framework! – Hey you know I loved „lines, shapes, forms“, so I’m way onboard this concept of yours, plus great descriptive heading to accompany (what else needed?!).

Un tableau de peinture. Une fenêtre sur le monde. Un double encadrement. Un puzzle parfaitement orchestré. J’aime beaucoup cette composition.
