all I can think of is last summer & the one before

See you riding home / Your nicotine filled smile / Lay that down and roll with me now / Air goes in and sound comes out now / And all I can think of is last summer / And the one before that (My Morning Jacket)

They’re getting old, we’re getting old, old and a bit tired, we need from time to time to lay down in some quiet place under the shiny shy sun…
Maybe there’s no more so much sex, maybe the best years are behind them, behind me, but we may still hope some good moments, maybe we can sing again some song and listen to good music.
The past, the present, the future, a philosophical view, Florian, a gem of yours.

Two couples–nearly mirror images–close, but not too close, each one with a gentle touch for the other, and maybe they are absorbed in the moment because it is good. But, they look for their future and they feel their past and it is good enough to want again.
Looking back is bittersweet; looking to the future is almost lost.

Fritsch, you tie my mind to imagination every time.

Fast schon ein Abschiedsgruss an den Sommer. Und ich sehe hier schon den Herbst, der sich am Horizont mit dunklen Wolken ankündigt. Grossartig!

This feels a bit like a dark Martin Parr photo. Ordinary people caught in ordinary situations, yet somehow in a fascinating way.

Wonderful shot with a quite repetition with laying people. Great BW. I love this picture!
    Have a nice day.

Reminds me of Bill Brandt. Excellent processing and such a funny/fantastic/intriguing angle

Not familiar with Bill Brandt’s work, I second Rhys‘ observation on the processing and intriguing aspect of the image. It sure grabs the attention.

  11. An amazing photo and so revealing the daily lives of tourists.
