drifting me outta sleep

© Bamberger Str. , Berlin 2011 by Fritsch

For your eyes, shines the sunrise / Drifting me outta sleep / Breathtaking, for as far as I can see / And all the times that I tried / Left me as lonely as I could be (Micah P. Hinson)

Very intense with its sheer detail screaming scantily clad. Wonderful storytelling.

I like the photo. It plays with the imagination. With photos like this, it’s possible that we tend to discover more about ourselves than the photographer.

A bed, a half-open door, a book on a little table, maybe a bra on the wooden floor, the ideal set to open our imagination.
And a beautiful song that goes along. The music of the movie running in our minds.
And a fine composition, Florian, as powerful as simple.

    Hi Florian,

I tried to answer by e-mail your P.S. on my last post but it didn’t work (the machine said i was spamming). So here it is:

You’re right, I thought of my last post as a kind of answer to one you made some days ago (the church). Not only, but surely. That’s part of our dialog, my friend. And once more thanks for taking time to visit my blog and to comment, not simple comments like “cool compo, nice contrast”!

I encountered the problem as PixeLuz when I tried to reply to you via email.

I also appreciate your replies on my photos very much. They are typically thoughtful (and poetic).

I hope all is well with you!

  15. There is some great storytelling in this one – one doesn’t know what has happened here.

It could be a great tragedy, it could be something which one associates with feelings of euforia.

In any case a great photograph, once again.

Minimalism is great: this is the obscure object of desire! I like the way you catch the mood!
    Have a nice day.

  22. Excellent composition Fritsch. I just found your site and I must you’re compositions are quite thought provoking. I just love the innuendo of this image.

    Great light,
