the wind blew the echoes of long-faded voices

And the wind blew the echoes of long-faded voices / And they’d sing me a song that the old cowboys sang / And I didn’t know what the words meant or anything / I was just singing because I was supposed to (Lyle Lovett)

I like the black and white monochrome in this photograph.

Great black and white as usual. The gritty darkness of your world never ceases to amaze.

Schwarz und weiß. Schwarz und weiß. Schwarz und weiß. Wie Schnee. „I was just singing because I was supposed to.” One Way. Wie ein Sog. Was bleibt ist ein leerer Platz. Und Müll.

Ich fürchte, ich habe heute etwas eindimensional assoziiert. Keine Ahnung, warum.

btw. Das neue Layout gefällt mir, schlicht & einfach, ohne grossen Firlefanz.

Well seen: this chess game works so well in BW.
    Have a nice day.

  6. I like the new look of your blog :)
Wonderful shot…the „checker board“ leading into the frame is fantastic.

What are we supposed to do on the giant chessboard which is our personal world? Should i go here or there, should i do this or that?
And there is no one to help us. Once more, we are just alone.
Florian, you just make it clear with this new great black and white shot. Black and white? Nothing more appropriated to deliver your message.

  11. Can’t say enough about this one. If you successfully navigate the chessboard, there’s still a cage-like thing waiting for you.

helloooooo my funny hunny sunny bunny with tons of money, i love this picture, so graphic and gritty, i sing in church because i’m supposed to, but sometimes it makes me cry….

Darkness and light materialized in those square tiles of the game. So well noticed!
