a stretch of open road

© Jenischpark Hamburg 2009 by Fritsch

I’ll seek my fortune in the wide world / I’ll take my chances out there in the cold / Come what may I’ll be OK / Somewhere I’ll find a stretch of open road (Peter Case)

By the way: The photoblog awards 2009 are up. If you like what you see, get over and vote for the hobokollektiv.

Harsh contrasts… looks warm there in Germany… not a very clearly defined road… so hopefully in persuit of it, it would be easier to follow…

The open road always offers much. Perhaps that is why it hold such an attraction.

back to b&w and the open road… i like this, especially how the trees merge with their shadows.

Love this shot…the brightly lit foreground that leads directly into the dark trees and silhouettes. A kind of beckoning…excellent mood.

Great shadows & silhouettes indeed. I like there’s a bright spot at the end of the road. Thanks for sharing!! =)
