songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

look to the reef, false lights from the land

The ship is wrecked with all hands / Look to the reef, false lights from the land / Way off course the fool’s sail is set / Lashed to the wheel to pay the stars their debt / With those white lines / Made your eyes wide / Unenlightened lies / In those white lines (Richard Hawley)

Danke, Walter.

Viele Grüße & weiterhin sichere Straßen, Fritsch.

The photo (and my personal interpretation of it) and that sweet, heart-hurting song have been woven into quite a moving tapestry of emotion at your hands. I’ll revert to an older term to describe the impact–heavy. (I’ve never left the hippy era, I suppose.) Very nicely done, Florian.

Thanks, Phil. That means the world to me. He’s a truly great singer & a wonderful songwriter. And this record is one of a kind. And there’s nothing wrong with being stuck in the hippy era from time to time.

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

Where there is a direction left where to look for, we can be sure you are the one to look there, man. What about this one? Nothing spectacular but this melancholy we share, my friend. A vision where are reflected forgotten fragments of our past life like leaves, dead leaves, the autumn leaves for instance. The memories of our ancient trips and eventual meetings. And what is more female than a leaf?
