songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

and a freight train running through the middle of my head

Hey little girl, is your daddy home? / Did he go away and leave you all alone? / Mmm, I got a bad desire / Oh, Oh, Oh I’m on fire / Tell me now baby, is he good to you? / Can he do to you the things that I do? / I can take you higher / Oh, oh, ohhh I’m on fire (Bruce Springsteen as sung by Johnny Cash)

Your picture is so well matched with this dangerous moving song. The moving voice of Johnny Cash reinforces the feeling of Springsteen’s song.

I hope your exhibition is most successful and wish you a happy Easter Sunday.

A story is unfolding every time someone watches.
So many questions, so few answers.
    Excellent!

oh i love that song! so sexy…. never heard the johnny cash version tho…. but baby, nobody can do the things that you do!!! is that your suitcase in the corner? always out and ready to hit the lonesome road?

    • Fritsch sagt:

Always ready to hit that lonesome road. Always ready to get to you, baby. Always burning, darling. And isn’t that a great version of one of the finest siongs ever?

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

Johnny Cash–incredibly cool. June Carter Cash–she has that „knowing“ look. And your photo takes my breath away…the suitcases, the bed all tousled…and the merciless imagination that goes with it.

    • Fritsch sagt:

Thanks, Phil. I do believe that is one of those unmade bed pictures that truly tells hundred different stories in a hundred different minds.

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

  8. ay, Fritsch, buddy, unmade beds, huh? they’re the best kind of beds!

congrats on the exhibition – such a shame I don’t have the opportunity to go to Hamburg, I really would’ve loved to be there!

great shot, by the way! keep ‚em coming, pal!

    Hepp!

Unmade beds, buddy. And in between fishnets, adventures in pants, rosebud & Reeperbahn. Captain, these are the nights to remember. It’s better to burn out than to fade away. And those nights are for dancing. And those beds needs to be tousled.

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
