songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

got no place in this old world, shackle bound, but still I roam

Runnin‘ from my family / Driftin‘ from my home / Thinking not of who I am / Thinking only of where I’m going / Oh got no place in this old world / Shackle bound, but still I roam / Said got no place in this old world / Shackle bound, but still I roam (Valerie June)

i really like those lyrics, i feel the same way, i wouldn’t have known how to say it…. do you roam into the hologram in the sky, is that where you found out it is better on the other side? that everything is thru the looking glass, a whole world that we yearn for but didn’t know was there? you found it, my dear

Going forward, looking behind. Looking ahead with an image of behind still in mind, it’s like a dream just floating above the treelines

I could imagine that it would be possible to see +through+ the mirror, so not to see the past in our back but maybe the future like in that film by Jean Cocteau where they went through mirrors to get in the beyond.
    Such a beautiful picture!

When the clouds in the mirror mix with the clouds ahead, that’s a way to think of all the times together. Even if we don’t want to remember the past („Thinking only of where I’m going“), this past goes on inside us. Impossible to totally forget it. That’s what this beautiful picture tells us, Florian, that’s why we can share it deep in our heart.
And I also love the lines on the left side, these lines and the idea they bring to us, the idea I told about upside. Which makes a very strong composition, my friend.

And ain’t it always these lines that we’re following but that keep irritating us frome time to time. On the other hand I think that’s what makes it so damn interesting.

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

  6. Alles fließt, alles steht still.
