songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

be a long time rambling before you see your rest again

I’d tell her to hold tight honey / Don’t you lose your spirit to the wind / I’d tell her to hold tight honey / Don’t you lose your spirit to the wind / I know you and I know you’ll be a long time rambling / Before you see your rest again (Jolie Holland)

    Diese SCHWALBE macht den Sommer!

Ob zu fuß oder auf Rädern:

    Herumziehen beschert einen reichen Tag.

„I’m not afraid of the journey,
We have to see it, we have to taste it,
The twists and turns deep inside,
    Everything is ok there,
    The wind will carry us,“

The Bundestag these days as a necessary symbol! The distance between you photographer, Florian, and the building offers us the historical perspective we need to look for if we want to understand what’s happening now, peculiarly in France and not in Germany. Anyway, in Europe.
If necessary, my friend, we’ll meet there some day just to remember and destroy the old demons always reappearing somewhere.

  11. ay, Fritsch, buddy – what a great shot! the past and the present caught in one beautiful frame, and your choice of words lends another layer of meaning to the picture…

(luckily we’re not part of the union up here, and therefore do not vote in the election, but it’s really just as bad here….)

    keep ‚em coming, pal!

    Hepp!
