songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

the ghost has got me running

I got sixteen days / Fifteen of those are nights / Can’t sleep when the bed sheet fights / It’s way back to your side / The ghost has got me running / The ghost has got me running / Away from you, away from you, away from you (Whiskeytown)

sometimes a truck just isn’t enough. sometimes you need ten or twelve or even more trucks to feel complete and truly happy, and this feels like one of those „twenty trucks at the time“-times!

love the colors, and man – what a band Whiskeytown was!

    Hepp!

How many? More than 16, more and more to make a powerful picture… But what makes it work so well is, in my humble opinion, the angle of view. And the metallic colours too.
If you’ve been hitch-hiking at a time, maybe you’ve been travelling in the cabin of such a truck, maybe you’ve been trucking! It happened to me, not many times, but it happened, and it was good. Just for making me remembering theses moments, thanks a lot, Florian. Vielen Dank, mein Freund!

    Great catch Fritsch.
Endless lines of horsepower ready to hit the road
Even if it’s in colour, it feels like monochrome.
Then again, blues is never completely black&white.

It’s a wonderful picture of high technical and aestethic quality.
What i love most is that the funny side of it. Really.
For me saying/writing that something is most funny wouldn’t be complimenting.

    wunderbar!

We all have our own demons ….
Beautiful perspective and vanishing points !

Do fear – they’re coming! Looks like the 5th cohort, and unfortunately it’s us who are calling them, more and more, every day.

With that blue sky and those trucks, there’s nothing to keep you from putting a distance behind
