songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

I hear a whisper soft & low through every mile I run

Every man was made to suffer and I’m a mighty man I know / I cannot shake the anger that keeps me on this road / They came with bugles sounding and righteousness decreed / And left me with a vengeance to forever feed / I hear a whisper soft and low through every mile I run / As I travel through this world of woe with a bible and a gun / With a bible and a gun (Jason Ringenberg)

You have either just arrived and placed your hat on the shelf, or you are just about to leave on another of your journeys that is prompted by those soft whispers. It’s in you to discover the world around you and that search is undeniably strong. Your perspectives are often esoteric and sometimes lifting up such common themes that most people would blithely skip past them. I always enjoy being a part of your travels and adventures through your photography.

  3. Ein Denk-Mal für einen Hut. Wunderbar in Szene gesetzt.

It refers to some thought i don’t guess but it does’nt matter. It is philosophically serious.

I read the picture in a another way : the scene looks funny and methodical to me, and the picture is amazing.

One might think the invisible man as the optical effect plays its role perfectly.
    Great pic my friend !

the man who mistook his wife for a hat. my husband has a hat like that, see yesterday’s pic… a Bible and a gun go good together, if you’re american anyway, which we are not. but we can still be angry, …..nah :)

    Florian,

  9. haha, great shot, pal!

the return of the invisible man! just love it- and it’s a great pairing of lyrics too!

    keep ‚em coming, buddy!

    Hepp!

  10. The owner of this hat is not absent. You want us to believe. Doubt sets. And it manifested itself in a few seconds … A very nice atmosphere on your plate, Florian.

Man hört geschäftige Geräusche. Eilige Schritte. Erst von links, dann nach rechts. Getrappel von Kinderfüssen. Ein Hund bellt. Gesprächsfetzen. Es riecht nach Kaffee. Ein Fenster zur Straße ist geöffnet. Lautes Hupen. Klingeln. Die Straßenbahn fährt vorbei.

Die Zeit des Hutes wird kommen. Seine Lehre: Man muss warten können :)

    Herzlich, K. (Hutträgerin *g)

  12. Live your life, do your work, then take your hat.

    Great shor!
