songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

I’m wet & I’m wild, honey, I’m short & thin

I’m wet and I’m wild, honey, I’m short and thin / So I can squeeze out of any position you try and put me in / I’ve got this old thing called the laughing hearts disease / I’m gonna laugh my way to any old place I please (Pokey LaFarge)

They all look in a different direction… Looking for their salvation?

    Florian, ganz grosses Kopfkino!

  5. ay, Fritsch, buddy, meanwhile, somewhere in Germany they all gather at the pier. a man who thinks it’s summer has brought Tintin’s dog along – maybe he’s waiting for Captain Haddock to show up – some of the others are wearing more appropriate clothes. nobody’s looking in the same direction. are they waiting for a boat to carry them away, or are they just there for the view? apparently nobody’s watching the horizon, but in the distance you can hear a happy tune, an old guitar and a harmonica and some guy singing la la la …. it’s a great day after all, end then it’s coffee and cigarettes, buddy, then it’s coffee and cigarettes …

    keep ‚em coming, pal!

    Hepp!

What a fabulous image, there is so much to discover. I like that everyone seems to be engrossed in their own world. Your composition and the black and white treatment are amazing.

Lovely b&w and composition „sur le vif“ and… in the wind ! Love this air one can feel here.

Being the invisible observer of a moment caught in time is a luxury of sorts. To be able to simply take the time to study each face, every posture, and wonder what each is thinking deep inside is like finding a treasure. Even the dog is part of that little bit of this world. There they are almost on display wandering and wondering and we as viewers simply can conjure up any little scene we wish to.
Is that a power or is it a just another misty dream? A very thought-provoking image, Fritsch.

People looking in as many directions as there are subtleties in this beautiful photograph

Wild thing. „If dogs run free, why don’t we?“

    Lieben Gruß, K.
