snow covers everything & it’s 5 degrees below zero

And he can see the city lights in the distance / So he walks into the opposite direction / Swimming in a sea of rage that dissipates with the cold / But hours now have passed and he doesn’t know which way to go / He tries to find the highway but snow covers everything and it’s 5 degrees below zero (Richmond Fontaine)

such a pretty scene, i don’t see a sea of rage, darling… but perhaps it is invisible, as most seas of rage are :) did you have a great Christmas? lots of presents for your sweet self i hope…. Happy New Year!!

In warmer weather this would be a place full of life and laughter. With the snow and freezing temperatures, life is cloistered somewhere in those gray buildings, and, possibly, they have their own bits of light and celebration. We tend to try to find that warmth and to stay in it, but those empty spaces aren’t ever far away. They can’t be avoided. Thankfully, we can see the lights…and maybe we will gravitate toward them and not lose ourselves in the cold darkness. Oh, (shifting gears), Happy New Year, Florian! Thanks for 2012’s adventures that you have provided!

We can imagine the calm and the silence of this playground. I like this smooth atmospher.
    Have a nice day.

Liking much this depiction… just so „Poetic In Quality“ Florian! This image tugs at my heart in that „Perfectly Perfect Way“… and I’m toast even though it’s 5 degrees below zero (HA!).
