invisible city XVIII

© Mathildenhöhe, Darmstadt 2012 by Fritsch

A still life with a bottle, a newspaper and a glass / The carrot dangles and the dance goes on, the bitters circle the drain / Emancipate the commonplace, ride high the relief roads / Of nightfall and enchanted ends, revelry in borrowed clothes / Antiheroes to follow too, bar and string salvation / Throw the calendar away, gonna find a jukebox of steel (Son Volt)

    Minimalistic perfection

Perhaps by being invisible, certain things make the visible even more visible, in this case maybe it’s those colours

demons are invisible, but visible in the eyes of the ones they torment…. only the seen is unseen…. interesting picture honey

that’s one fine minimalistic interpretation. great catch!

Blue, blue and green, I read this composition, this gem in its casket, three strips of color at first, three floors after a time. Blue, blue and green enhanced by the deep black contour. A very peculiar blue, a very peculiar green. A gem, as I already said.

And then, for my mind, an imaginery motel on my road, this road you build, Florian, picture after picture, on your blog. A high road. The road for lost memories to relive, for new images to accumulate, for stories to tell at night, when alone. Travelin‘ stories. The best stories.

Behind every closed door and every shuttered window, there is a world unto itself, invisible to everyone else for a while, at least. The ones inside have every desire and experience every event–good or evil–known to humankind. Thank God we don’t know all of it. Thank God that we do.

the extreme precision of this minimalist frame is an example for every photographer, and man – let’s just find that jukebox in the night, pal, let’s just find that jukebox in the pitch black night!

    great shot, Fritsch!

    Hepp!

    Walter

  17. A photo as you know them.
A direct message is addressed to us.
The subject is isolated. In this picture, it is colorful.
    Great delicacy in the treatment.
An accurate result and very personal.
    I love.
