floating away on a barrel of pain

My mind is failing and my body grows weak / My lips won’t form the words I speak / I’m floating away on a barrel of pain / New York City won’t see me again (Karen Dalton)

Love funfairs, loke in a fairy tale, closed at the moment but everything needed seems to be available to dream… Beautiful b&w !

this is wonderful, very David Lynch of you, my dear… your processing reminds me of adobe lightroom, how i miss it, being on linux… this picture is so sad, reminds me of the elephant man..

Pain all dressed up and hidden under a facade of ease and happiness. It lasts for a minute and then is swept away on a river of reality. On and on it goes with nothing else in mind except to do it again…achieve that momentary flash and then free fall to the bottom once more…never really claiming one or the other because it is well-known that one side isn’t achievable and the other isn’t tolerable. (All this when I’m in a good mood?) Nice work, Fritsch.

Das ist so traurig, mahnt aber zugleich, sich an dem zu erfreuen, was so selbstverständlich erscheint. Man tut gut daran, sich ab und an daran zu erinnern – es relativ so manche Sehnsucht, möchte man glauben.
    Wunderschoen.
    Gruss

And we are again in that fairy land of yours, and as we know that’s a land of pains – but not only – and, as I know, these pains are transcended to reach the absolute beauty, this absolute beauty you have achieved here once more to share with us, Florian.
And Karen Dalton’s music to celebrate – if so – this absolute beauty of transcended pain: i’ve switched now my tv on karen dalton’s youtube channel. This will be an absolute beauty day: music Karen Dalton, images Florian Fritsch!

Get up in one of those trucks, off to who knows which destination, the smell of adventure and the unknown, what’s beyond those clouds and those roads
