born of a union of dust & wind

© Botanischer Garten, Berlin 2012 by Fritsch

I was raised by a tribe of Vegas cowboys / Who claim I was born of a union of dust and wind / And when I came of age / Well I sailed away a pinecone on the Rio Grande / Now I gotta crawl after you / Tell you who I am (M. Ward)

born of dust and wind, sounds like the Genesis story, except for the whole tribe of vegas cowboys thing :P yes dear, tell me who you are, if you can, i’m not sure you know, coz does any of us know who we are? it’s God’s own secret, and we are on a need to know basis… this is a magnificent black and white, the sky is literally BLACK and white, amazing work my little cabbage xoxoxoxoxoxox excuse me, while i kiss your sky :)

When pillars look like chimneys, when clouds look like smoke, when I’m not sure of up and down, when I feel a delicious vertigo, when I’m confused in front and backwards, when my mind is traveling, following strange pathes, when I’m just wandering with thoughts loaded with a new light, when all these things make me dizzy, Florian, I’m looking at a photograph of yours and I do celebrate your very personal eyes.

  8. A cloud is a cloud a cloud. Und ich ist ein anderer. Trotzdem bleibt alles im Rahmen.

  9. ay, Fritsch, this is truly great stuff – wonderful composition and wonderful contrast between geometry and organic … growth, and dude, I love how the image projects an almost tactile feeling – this is one of your very best!

    keep ‚em coming, pal!

    Hepp!

  10. Few seconds to reposition the composition … Set of glass very successful. Beautiful composition.

„Secrets come pairing out and lots of dots are connected“… liking the „dramatic punch“ (HA!) – The whole ensemble in composition a treat to the eye… cool takes Florian!

sometimes we must look at the reflection, to see what was there to begin with

Fascinating reflections. I’m not sure if I prefer the real, honest sky or the mystery of the reflected sky. Either one would be an adventure to travel in, but what would that do to reality? (I think I know what I mean by that.)

Gorgeous BW and what a composition with the opposite skies! Fabulous!
    Have a nice day.

  17. Beautiful reflections. The image is very well thought out. Géniale.

Wonderful picture – i love the continuum between „real“ and „reflexion“ and the contrast between motion and stiffness.
    Great blog, by the way!
