songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

the blues you hear

© Traffic cone, Oranienburg 2011 by Fritsch

Goin‘ alone / Life is your own / But sometimes the cost is dear / Being complete / Knowing defeat / Keepin’ on from year to year / It takes some doing / Monkery’s the blues you hear (Thelonious Monk & Abbey Lincoln)

Leaving you with that for a moment because I’m on the road for a couple of days. Good food & the ocean, books & a camera, woman & wine … see you soon, folks.

I’m a fan of hard contrasts –as you may already know. I Nice pensive and peaceful interpretation to this scape, Fritsch. Cheers!

  3. Great great composition and, like always, a very great BW and contrast!

Love the framing here. And – hope you have a wonderful time away.

I like the intersecting verticals and horizontals…and I completely agree with the lyrics you’ve cited.

Love the framing between the two bars crossing the horizontals, so simple, just so good

looks like a nice running track. the bars in the forefront give it a totally different feel of what must be a large, open space.

Seht her – ätschbätsch. Still crazy.

    Fein.

Meer, Bücher, Wein… das klingt ebenfalls fein. Viel Spaß. Take care und: Bis bald!

As always, your point of view is spectacular! LOve the way you shoted the stadium, and your strong BW works so well here.
    Have a nice day.
