places that he’d been & the things that he’d seen

She finally stood up with red stains on her shirt and she walked back out to the room / Save my life, she said. He grabbed her hand and said, that’s all I ever want to do / I just want to be with you, all I want to be is with you (Richmond Fontaine)

A very powerful image, accompanied by a very powerful song.
It’s going to be a while before either fades…

Wie das Setting für einen Traum, ein Bühnenbild. Vollkommen real, vollkommen surreal. Was ist Vorder- und was ist Hintergrund? Was ist echt, was ist Kulissenmalerei? Als ob die Welt für einen Moment angehalten habe. Ein ewiger Anfang. Ein ewiges Ende. Still-Leben.

    Lieber Kid: Ja.

Though nothing looks familiar to me
I Know I’ve stayed here before
    Once a thousand nights ago
With the girl from the Red River shore

Familiar city border landscape when shadow is long and light brilliant under a very clear sky. I like it.

The gutter and the drainpipe, so well built, so well maintained, the care for details, sometimes that’s one thing that moves me at a large scale… Can’t explain. Or maybe it’s because there are, behind these material details, people, simple people giving their best to build their little world, their little paradise.
Don’t know if you understand me, Florian. Oh no, I’m sure you know what I mean, my friend!

The tree seems this to detach from the atmosphere dark which suit him well, beautiful and good realization.

Strong BW as usual; I like the light comonig in the picture behind the houses. Well seen and done. It’s perfect!
