Travelin‘ man, oh Lord, he must have been a travelin‘ man / Travelin‘, ramblin‘ man he was the swiftest in the land / Gamblin‘, ramblin‘ Joe they knowed him in every town / He wouldn’t stay put no he wouldn’t give up and I guess he never settled down (Doc Watson)

Beautiful photo with very good lightening and some significant elements.
We could feel it s a painting in front of a painting.

    „Komm, sei endlich still
    Melancholie, sei endlich still

Was hast du der Menschheit jemals Gutes gebracht?
Außer Musik und Kunst und billigen Gedichten
    Hast du darüber schonmal nachgedacht?
    Ach, fick dich ins Knie
Melancholie, du kriegst mich nie klein
    Fick dich ins Knie
Melancholie, du kriegst mich nie klein“

awwwww, there’s something very Leonard Cohen about this, i would have picked ‚I’m your man’…. THIS is my new favorite!!! and he’s looking at flowers, bless his heart, were you going to buy me some flowers lol thank you, sweetheart!!! :D

The hands–holding themselves because they are their own and only security and restraint as if this man holds back from permanently enjoying what is in front of him at the moment– always waiting for the next person, place, or thing to be the answer to the profound loneliness he feels so deep inside. Look, taste, touch and move on; there may be more somewhere else and there isn’t enough to hold him here.

Perfect composition: we feel that the hands are the most important things in your picture. Clever!
    Have a nice day.

This composition is just perfect, Florian! When I was a child, I was fascinated, I don’t know why, by people crossing their hands in their back. And you know what? Now that I’m getting old, I’m one of these men crossing hands in their back.
And there is another point to mention, the fact we don’t know what he is doing, what he is looking at…

I remember a similar post from you with hands like this (on a woman if I recall) …I like it, very good!

  20. Une très belle lumière sur l’essentiel du sujet : les mains de cet homme. Magnifique.

Another one of these :) The really makes a good portrait. Tells a bit about the person even if you can’t see the face. You should make a series of this.
