sank to the bottom of the sea

© Weißfrauenkirche, Gutleutstr., Frankfurt am Main 2011 by Fritsch

Here’s all that I have to give / I’ll admit it’s not a lot / But it’s all that I’ve got / To hang myself with / In hopes that you’ll take notice of me / I’ve been waiting so long / Up in these trees / Trying to hang myself with / Thoughts of you, thoughts of me / I’ve been wishing so long / Why can’t you see? (need to find out how to link you up.) ;)

  4. I find the space at top left a little distracting, but it’s a great image with wonderful tones and texture. That’s not an angel I’d want to run into.

This is a nice clean photo Fritsch but with so much meaning….i liked your quote but not as much as your Angel on the wall….peter:)

Nice and I like the perspective.

Oh how painful this angel stucked on the wall like Jesus on the cross! Though i’m not a believer in its conventional meaning i find it a great metaphoric image of our human pains.

Ich will die Menschheit nicht beglücken. Ich will keine Engel züchten. Ich will keine Himmel stürzen. Ich will die Kunst. (John Milton)

Great composition! This angel seems to be in levitation; great play with the lines of this wooden wall! I like it!!!
    Have a nice day.

A very odd place for a bowsprit! Wonderful shot.

  15. Fantastique. L’ange semble perdu dans l’environnement.
