many more miles left to go

© Germany keep quite Blankensteinpark Berlin 2009 by Fritsch

So don’t cry for me / For I’m going away / And I’ll be back some lucky day / Tell the boys back home / That I’m doing just fine / I’ve left all my troubles and woe / And you can sing about me / ‚Cause I can’t come home / I’ve many, many more miles left to go (Tom Waits)

Ja, Till – du bist großartig und deswegen bist du Deutschland! Schöner Fund und tolles Bild!

i love the way tom waits manages to sing the blues while still being happy and positive lol i don’t know what that writing is on in your pic, but it’s a most excellent shot… the writing in the middle of suburbia makes it look quite surreal :) i dig it man!!!

I love this, the worst kind of graffiti usually makes the best photo subjects. This looks stunning in mono. Excellent

  7. Nice story line in this shot. Your strong black and white tones really set the mood. Superb as always :)

should it really be ‚Deutschland sei till‘? I don’t get the ‚till‘ part though. =( Anyway, this is very nice b/w. I wish I could see more from the black and white buildings at the back. Great atmosphere too.

Kamal, no it should be „Deutschland sei still“. But a backpack left right in front of the „s“ created a whole new sentence.

All the best & safe travels,
    Fritsch.
