And I was just your passenger / Hoping you wouldn’t see the sign: „Funeral parking only“ / And if the rain would settle down / Well, maybe we will catch a glimpse of this troubled town (Jesse Sykes And The Sweet Hereafter)

great indeed, Fritsch. you cannot have a desrted u-bahn station like this in the day. i admire you picking up the camera and head to these places to get the right picture. your series just keeps me wanting more. lovely tones too.

it looks like a retail flying saucer has landed lol… it’s a good thing it’s not REALLY invisible or you would have had trouble taking this great image!! thank you for visiting me and your great comment on my site, tell me, do you post everyday? because i would like to add you to my blog roll :)

    Guter schuß, well spotted.

super frame; super symmetry ; super colors :)) cheers !!

Kind of image I like: conveys the spirit of the moment, the night…very atmospheric. Your a creature of the night, Sr. Fritsch. Plenty of balance and a nice mixture of light and shadows…just like how it all plays together.

  8. what a great image, very symmetrical, yet dynamic

that is fantastic! the colours, the composition, the frame the fuzzy „sharpness“. Fantastic Photo!

i agree with the flying saucer comment. you’ve captured an alien world here. it seems to be struggling to stay contained. excellent.

krumme lanke, wirkt eher halbrund statt krumm. phantastisches foto!

A sense of ghost town, nicely depicted – Blue is the colour (photogenic)!

  14. Ariel sagt:

    Well, that’s almost a spaceship!
There is an unexplainable beauty on german public signs, always so austere, and yet so meaningful. That single U, and the beautiful blues hues that come along… I just love it! Great compostion, congratulations.

  15. This is a wonderful photograph! The curves give such a feeling of motion and perfect with these glowing light. Bravo to you!

You definitely have the Blues in your images. This one literally contains blue, but the Blues seems to be everywhere. Impressive!
