invisible city III

© Polizeidirektion 4 Gothaer Str. Berlin 2009 by Fritsch

Days pass so fast / Night goes so slowly / Your spell has been cast / I’m laying lonely / If I told you I love you / Would you pass me by / Ah don’t do it, I’m begging you / Believe me for a little while (Langhorne Slim)

I really enjoy these Fritsch. Evocative, thoughtful and very moody.

  2. A superb shot! I love the moody feel, the silhouette of the blinds, the plant in the window. I often wonder what goes on in the lives of others, what is beyond the light that comes from the inside. Lovely.

this third part of your city series is also a good example of our urban life, documented by a photo.

the glow of a new day dawning, a vision of optimism. What will the day bring?

    das äussere dunkel
    im zeichen mächtiger schwärze
    gedanken umschwirren
    das innere hell
    wie motten das licht
    zwischen grauen mauern
    bewohner mit grünem daumen
    die nacht fliesst dahin
    das bild das bleibt.

grossartig Fritsch, das unsichtbare wird sichtbar!

this is elegant – the subtle color and sparse composition… well done. i was thinking about you yesterday – i was driving around on gravel roads in rural northern kansas, from one little town to another, listening to son volt. i think you would have enjoyed it.

    Fritsch.

like blood in the blackest night. like a heart, stopps beating, dying in beauty.

    thank you.

  14. Ah, I’m not sure if I like the image or the quote the best! What an amazing combo. Very striking.
