songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

like someone else’s song from a long time ago

I can’t tell you anything you don’t already know / I keep on trying, I should just let it go / I keep on singing, you’re eyes they just roll / It sounds like someone else’s song from a long time ago / You already know the story and the chords are just the same / You already know I love you and I sound like whats-his-name / But you can’t stop me, I want you to know / I know it sounds like someone else’s song from a long time ago (Wilco)

i’m sure no woman would ever stop you, my beauty… and this photograph is a beauty, reminds me of a movie from long ago… ‚Rumble Fish’…. ‚only 72 Christmases, think about it‘ *Tom Waits*

… the smell of old smoke, sour beer, reminiscences of times long gone and now thougt to have been good times. Light makes some things hard to bear.

A little later the room was filled with listeners for a jazz combo called „Reich durch Pfand“. But the room is packed with atmosphere & this scenery reminded me of a Robert Frank setting while photographing the Anmericans. Thanks, Michèle.

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
