songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

my heart’s a gem wrapped up in your song again

The ocean beaches have all been washed away / And I must let you go you show me so ‚most every day / Damaged stars fall silent, to the sea / Oh, the lonely life of a fool, of a fool like me (Jesse Sykes & The Sweet Hereafter)

Hab vielen Dank, Uwe!

Viele Grüße & weiterhin sichere Straßen, Fritsch.

  3. ay, Fritsch, what a powerful image – an abandoned beach, glowing, the viewer barelay able to catch a small glimpse of the ocean – it’s all just sand and sky and a vast and laden emptyness ….

    Hepp!

Captein, remember Harry Dean Stanton in Paris, Texas by Wim Wenders:

„And for the first time, he wished he were far away. Lost in a deep, vast country where nobody knew him. Somewhere without language, or streets. He dreamed about this place without knowing its name.“

      Thanks, brother!

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

Washed away and much more beautiful without anyone or anything but seagulls in the distance.
Sky and beach looking more like eachother. The thin line of the sea is a quite naturel horizon and also just what gives the picture its very aesthetic touch.
I don’t see anything negative or sadly lonely: i feel it as a peaceful and bright space.

The peaceful & bright spaces are those places where one can truly feel lonesome but it offers the wandering mind a great walk without boundaries. Thanks, Michèle.

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

Such simple pure lines, the simplest BW is often the best. I especially like the details on the horizon

Dissection. The crux of what we see without all the fluff of details.
    Interesting view of the view.
