the road, it’s not too long
Love, wait for me / Love, wait for me / Love, wait for me / I am coming home / I’ll be at your door / I’ll be at your door / I’ll be at your door / The road, it’s not too long (Micah P. Hinson)

sehr fein, Florian!
good days and ways for you
Ulli
Vielen Dank, Ulli!
Viele Grüße & weiterhin sichere Straßen, Fritsch.
Minimalistic perfection. Bravo!
Beautiful, both picture and those hopeful words.
Goodnighthug from me, Marie
Singing hopeful words for the coming night is my pleasure, my hug for you & for a good night. Thanks, Marie, your words mean a lot to me.
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
Thanx :)
Or maybe both because sometimes lonesomeness can be a freeing thing, I guess. Thanks, Michèle!
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
ay, Fritsch, buddy, Micah was a new name to me – and I cannot resist any Texan with a tragic tale to tell :D
great minimalism in the picture, and the contrast between image and words – how many times musn’t a small migrating bird flap its wings to get back home – is just down to the point!
(as a reviewer wrote of this album: it’s the same old shit day after day, but still it’s great to be alive!)
keep on shooting, pal!
Hepp!
And this life ain’t worth living without a Micah tune to save us from the shit day after day after day, captein. It’s those tragic tales that matters, that keeps us alive. And remember, buddy, Texas is there right within us, cowboy.
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
Sing, Little Bird, Sing. In a different way, but with the same ability to look at our stunning world, we have „Swim, Little Fish, Swim“. Sing, Little Bird, Sing. Or Fly, Little Bird, Fly… Did you see the Lola Bessis‘ movie? If yes, you understand me. If not, you may also understand me…
This bird on a wire, it could be you or me, Florian. We are like this bird looking at our stunning world.
Well, my friend, the distance between is not too long. Thanks to your images and the words you fish in the ocean of songs. Swim, Little Fish, Swim!
Thanks, Francis. And thanks for swimming that ocean of songs & stories with me.
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
I do not know if the road is long, what I do know is that against the picture is very beautiful my friend !
The road is always long, never too long & full of stories & pictures. Thanks, Psacal.
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
i have a penchant for negative space, and this is so delicate as well… just beautiful, my lovely friend!!! but you stopped by my site and commented just when i had decided to give it all up and start over, i neeeeed you to come back, i have ZERO comments on my new blog lol you know i needs ya
Sweetheart, I sent you all my commentary love. I know you need it just as bad as I need you.
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
We run away. We fly back. We wait and remember, and we can’t decide which direction is really the best to take. Either way we go, we receive a welcome, but we also have to say goodbye. The bird on a wire–it is each one of us.
Great work, Florian.
Thanks for the true & poetic words, Phil. And I think that carrying the welcome & the goodbye all at the same time is the essence of my roaming. Glad you found the words to that, my friend!
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
Umsausten schauerlich mein Ohr.
Die Nacht schuf tausend Ungeheuer,
Doch tausendfacher war mein Mut,
Mein Geist war ein verzehrend Feuer,
Mein ganzes Herz zerfloß in Glut.
Ich sah dich, und die milde Freude
Floß aus dem süßen Blick auf mich.
Ganz war mein Herz an deiner Seite,
Und jeder Atemzug für dich.
Ein rosenfarbnes Frühlingswetter
Lag auf dem lieblichen Gesicht
Und Zärtlichkeit für mich, ihr Götter,
Ich hofft’ es, ich verdient’ es nicht.
Der Abschied, wie bedrängt, wie trübe!
Aus deinen Blicken sprach dein Herz.
In deinen Küssen welche Liebe,
O welche Wonne, welcher Schmerz!
Danke, Uwe! Das passt wie Vogel auf elektrischer Leitung.
Viele Grüße & weiterhin sichere Straßen, Fritsch.
Very nice minimalist shot.
