My neighbors all see me stumblin’ home / They c’n see there’s somethin’ perty bad wrong / They hear me singin’ th’ wrong kinda song / Just ‘cause my bed’s been empty too long (Words by Woody Guthrie, Music by Yim Yames)

Love the dialog between the painting and the empty bed !

  2. Uwe sagt:

  4. ay, Fritsch, buddy, those are harsh words, and they fit the picture perfectly!

as both Aurore and Uwe have said the dialogue between the empty bed and the picture abov e that bed is a stroke of genius!

    here’s to the night, pal!

    Hepp!

Fitting poetry to such a frame.
With Blues comes art&beauty. The price is an aching heart

A bed empty too long, well I’ve known that sometimes, and your picture tells me clearly about this. And tells me other stories, too. Sometimes, stories of trips when I refused to „passer à l’acte“ and preferred to sleep alone ;-)
Clearly too is this other picture on the wall telling us much more stories. I’d like to say this composition of yours, Florian, is a rich prism offered to our eyes, a way to celebrate male friendship. And why not female one, too!

  10. Markus sagt:

Perfekt.

  11. michèle sagt:

The beauty has come down from her frame. Dreaming … Or the sleeper spent a part of the night thinking of her charms.

I have to say I didn’t see the portrait right away, but it’s a damn fine contrast, with that soft light on the side as well

  13. duke sagt:

I am of the same opinion that some other, I love the contrast between the empty bed (which can assume a lot of stories …) and picture on the wall and a reminder light above.
    Nice phot my friend !

    That soft light i like!
