who built the house of brotherly love, then let the Devil come dancing in?

© Hafenstraße, Velten, 2013, Florian Fritsch

Jesus and the fiery furnace, devil and the deep blue sea / Preacher say I’m gonna burn in hell for all eternity / But when I have my judgement day and I lock eyes with my savior / Well, this is what I’m gonna tell him when he asks about my behavior / I’m gonna say: God was drunk when he made me / God was drunk when he made me / God was drunk when he made me / And that’s why I’m so crazy (Jim White)

And that’s why I’m so crazy.

An incredible sight to behold. A defiant spirit full of crazy behavior and (the apparent) craziness of so many who might be numbing their pain, doubts, and fears captures our attention and judgement.
We should probably be asking ourselves how far we are from being included in that particular population. Maybe we aren’t as far from it as we would like to think. Thanks for the mind play, Florian.

Love those bright simple colors, and the simple shapes that complement one another. And most of all that beautiful sky, a little out of reach just over the wall.
