  1. Ah yes, ghosts on the road, how many indeed. How they keep you company, for awhile, how they vanish again around the next corner, the next intersection, always running…

    It’s that light, the one illuminating the road ahead that brings so much inspiration to this shot. Man, it’s divine, as ever.

    Such a powerful shot, Florian, such a heavy structure blasting in my eyes. Darkness end to end. And then, besides, the thin structure of the lamp post… Would there be some light to tell us we are on our way? Or is this light just an illusion? The evidence of a ghosty presence.
    Dr Lacan used to speak of the Grand Other, the Ghost Other. The ghost haunting each one of us. Generally, not a haunting beauty! No way, impossible to get rid of it (the little it, in fact). Let’s go ahead, my friend, despite of this haunting darkness!
