never seen a night so long when time goes crawling by
Hear that lonesome whippoorwill / He sounds too blue to fly / The midnight train is whining low / I’m so lonesome I could cry / I’ve never seen a night so long / When time goes crawling by / The moon just went behind the clouds / To hide its face and cry (Hank Williams)

hey, you … good days and ways to you
herzlichst Ulli
Ach Ulli …
No matter how long the night or tenuous the light, the midnight train will bring the morning with it
And that morning makes things look different before it gets dark & glowing again. Thanks, my friend!
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
ay, Fritsch, buddy, what a great shot – masterful use of negative space and superb color control! I’ll ride that midnight train of yours anytime, pal!
keep on shooting!
Hepp!
Buddy, that whistle is as hypnotizing as these dark nights, cold drinks & late smokes. No escape from the blues. No escape from that midnight train of ours.
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
In the dark night, seeing all of a sudden a little piece of a lit place, that’s both mystery and warmth in our heart. Mystery cause we don’t know what’s happening there. Warmth cause we can remember we are not alone in this world.
Well, Florian, you managed to capture both this mystery and this warmth in this composition. And you give me the feeling we are travelling along parallel trajectories despite of the distance.
A great shot, my friend, a great pull from one moment to another, for me looking at this universal glimpse.
The curse of roaming & the blessing of a lit place, my friend, that tells us both we’re travelin parallel but not apart. And this feels just like a warm light on a spare lit road at windblown coast. And that just makes the difference, buddy!
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
A glimmer of hope in this crazy world …
Great my friend !
You’re right, my friend … a crazy but beautiful world out there!
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
you’re back!! all is well in the world of elaine and her photography again… don’t worry, i probably won’t keep that site that it’s hard to comment on… i’m trying to get a wordpress site happening right now… i’m soooooo happy to see you, how can you be lonesome with so many of us who love you? :)
Maybe I’m so lonesome because I just can’t get enough of your love, dear. That‘ s what keep up all night out there on those hardly lit roads.
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
Sadness pur!
Vielen Dank.
Viele Grüße & weiterhin sichere Straßen, Fritsch.
