songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

but home was a dream, one I’d never seen till you came along

So girl, leave your boots by the bed we ain’t leaving this room / Till someone needs medical help or the magnolias bloom / It’s cold in this house and I ain’t going out to chop wood / So cover me up and know you’re enough to use me for good (Jason Isbell)

Cold days are coming back and it’s good to stay at home, listening to good music and looking at lights in the outside. When I’ve seen this picture, that’s what I thought immediately, bro, and I went back to my room… Good picture and good feeling, Florian, with this frame directly captured in the heart of the night.

Isn’t it interesting how just a little light captures our full attention especially when the dark is so surrounding. It is a very pensive photo, I think. And it is just as poetic as the song.

Together they make quite the mix. Thinking about it reminds me of discussions in my college literature classes many years ago. (I could have used a little light back then.) :)
