songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

the deer is in the audience by the border of the darkness

Oh darling, when it’s you I see in headlights, driving down the golden highway / And salvation in the beauty of some brace / And the deer is gone without me to the valley of surrender / There is still another world along it’s tracks / But there’s that sign up to a hill to see the far of the land / Well the sign will say „there’s still a higher one“ / And now the day is slowly setting and the lights on where you’re sleeping / So I hope somewhere that troubles will be gone (The Tallest Man On Earth)

always a prettier deer on the edge of the dark crowd you sing to, baby? this is quite the dilemma i see you have before you… and as this days sets, you are there, but alone? why? i send you passionate photography kisses from afar, to light up the edge of the crowd so you can see the highest of highs.

Grossartig, Florian.

Your photo is what I like to call an „essence“ photo, and, for some reason, I’m like that element more and more as time passes. Perhaps, it’s because impressionism just makes my imagination soar a bit more than usual. I am repeatedly drawn to this girl’s face and, like that quickly seen deer by the road, I wish I could see more.
But, not seeing is sometimes delicious. Anyway, I love the „risk“ you took with this shot. It captures wishes and wonderings, and it doesn’t get better than that. :)

Thanks, Phil. If only I could express how your words mean the world to me. To me it feels just the same besides that it feels like being right in the frame even by only looking at it weeks later. Thanks, my friend.

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
