songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

I could be where you are near & just forget where I am lost

If just that weather-beatin‘ plane was here / Haven’t seen it since I came / Can only wonder if it’s near or in the skies / When this damn city sounds the same / And sometimes I’m just a tangle in this trampled wheat / Shirk a-like a losing dog / If just tonight that I could be where you are near / And just forget where I am lost (The Tallest Man On Earth)

Vielen Dank, Uwe!
Viele Grüße & weiterhin sichere Straßen, Fritsch.

I must confess I feel lost. But sometimes this feeling is just great! According to the tags, we are in a museum… Anyway it looks like a kind of strange city for insects or giants (who knows!) of an unknown planet with its many moons. It remembers me a painting I made when I could paint…
This mysterious universe helps me, Florian, helps me to live a little bit more before I’ll have to leave it. Surely I’ll dream of it tonight. A picture of the city where I’ll meet the 3 women who obsess me nowadays, Wa, AF and CP.
Love the music too, my friend, a band I didn’t know. A possible soundtrack for my next dreams…

It’s the Neue Nationalgalerie, a Mies van der Rohe building & one of my favourite places in Berlin, that will be closed for the next three years due to refurbishment. It feels like being lost because of that.

Brother … I know these city & it’s places & it’s women & all these obsessions. It’s the soundtrack to our achings, our joy & our dreams. And the only way to cope with them is to keep singing our songs through the pictures we take. So let’s keep on singing, buddy. Just keep on singing.

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

What a beautiful image you paint. And from time to time life feels all great when we’re a little confused, don’t it? Thanks, Michèle.

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
