counting cars & counting days & counting years

I think the best of me’s still standing in the doorway / Counting cars and counting days and counting years / I could say you made me go through life the hard way / But it might’ve been worse if you were here (Jason Isbell)

Counting years when you´re getting older and older, it´s a loss of time, young Jason. Here in the frame, the one in the doorway is already an old man…
It´s interesting, Florian, that you focused on this man who occupies a small part of the composition and being your subject! That´s one of these racy approach of yours, my friend, and that’s why I like it so much.

Thanks, Francis. I have to think about a photograph of JFK taken from behind while he’s sitting in the chair & only a little part of his head is visible but the label on the chair says „The President Of The United States“. A great frame to me because of that racy approach as you would say.

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

good days and ways, lieber Florian

Hauptsache man findet dann & wann Antworten. Mögen Sie auch nicht endgültig sein. Hab vielen Dank.

it can always get worse, always get harder, but that’s not the road we travel, to better and better…. surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives

    • Fritsch sagt:

As long as we travel these roads side by side it can’t get any worse. We got some tunes in mind, a full tank of gas & a promised land ahead, my dear!

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

Vielen Dank, Uwe!

Viele Grüße & weiterhin sichere Straßen, Fritsch.
