songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

no good luck, no bad luck just wish me luck in my cold discovery

We needed a fever then we needed a cure / The bait no longer lured / Say goodbye quick as you can / A car waits for me just across the border / Wish me luck / No good luck, no bad luck / Just wish me luck in my cold discovery (Bill Callahan)

what is your cold discovery my dear? did you discover that nothing is real, yet here we are anyway? quantum mechanics is God laughing at our attempts at cold discovery :) lovely shot btw, were you walking alone at dawn?

Your photo is so very atmospheric. The gray mist and yet-to-be-filled vines strike a chord that is often missed. I have tried to take photos of vineyards full of grapes that are ready for harvesting, fully leaved, and glowing with the sun. But, this photo tells another side of the story that is just as important and valid. There is a time of waiting and wondering just as there is a time of realization. Yours has it’s own mystery, and that is a very good thing.

And it seems that I’m always searching for that other side of the story. This morning view was cold but overwhelming & full of mystery. And I knew that moment that this was my frame. Thanks, Phil. Knowing I can share those moemnts with you, kind of stepping through it all altogether is making a happy drifter.

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

We feel dampness. Mist makes beautiful pictures but we feel it down to our inner body and then there’s anxiety at the beginning of the long night of autumn-winter.
The picture is perfect, there’s graphisme and order!. And aesthetics of course.
    I like the ong too.

Can’t tell why I really love these misty autumn mornings. Because they seem to hide more than they show. But if we look long enough they reveal just enough to keep the magic. And a good song always makes it even more beautiful.

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

Misty morning full of mystery, as said before. I asked myself why it’s working here so well as a photograph: I guess the point of view adds something more, close to the ground and with a relatively long distance to the trees plantation, which creates the border the song also tells of.
That’s your art as a photographer, Florian, which is expressed markedly here, your ability to chose an angle, a point of view, your vision of the world, your world, my friend.

    • Fritsch sagt:

And it’s agreat feeling knowing that we walk the same roads, standing on the same ground & realizong that our different point of views is our true treasure. It’s not only what keeps running but makes me a lucky drifting kind of guy. Thanks, brother.

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

Vielen Dank.

Viele Grüße & weiterhin sichere Straßen, Fritsch.

Across the border, but to find it beyond that dark tall maze of trees. All routes look the same but each lead somewhere different
