songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

the ghosts that I got scared & I got high with look a little lost

And the story’s only mine to live and die with / The answer’s only mine to come across / But the ghosts that I got scared and I got high with / Look a little lost / Ten years ago I might have thought I didn’t have the right / To say the things an outlaw wouldn’t say / But those were different days / Those were different days (Jason Isbell)

Florian, you couldn’t miss the wallpaper of this hotel room! On the right side of the frame, the cityscape looks very „classical“ in comparison, but there is nobody in the streets apart of the ghosts… Knowing it has been shot in Leipzig makes a disturbing picture.
Well, my friend, you show us a small piece of the German territory reconfigured after WW2 along with American music, a true hiatus. „Hiatus“, this word which always appears as a tag of your photographs. Always or almost always?

Since life & all its adventures felt to me like a hiatus – the space in between – I began tagging my posts just so, Francis. May be because all these journeys are only made to find the way out of the prisons we’re living in. Maybe because it’s afreeing experience I’m longing for. Thanks, my friend!

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

i just looooove that picture that wallpaper, very eggleston, and i aim for eggleston’s ghost… and you, i aim for you, ten years ago i never thought anyone cared what i had to say, so i didn’t say it, now i speak the words of an outlaw and find out they do care haha it makes them angry and jealous they aren’t free enuff to say them

A excellent! nice day to you!

Vielen Dank, Uwe!

Viele Grüße & weiterhin sichere Straßen, Fritsch.

A room with a view, please…and some dizzying wallpaper. The view is empty of people, it seems, and it can only be hoped that the future holds some fullness because the past seems a little lacking from time to time. Artfully presented, Fritsch.

As long as we’ll keep on working on the future & travelling these roads that lead us to different cities & all it’s people the future is in our hands & will be bright & full some day soon. Thanks, my friend.

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

Vielen Dank, Ihr beiden.

Viele Grüße & weiterhin sichere Straßen, Fritsch.
