songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

when it comes your time to travel likewise don’t feel lost

But if it proves to be his will that I am first to cross / And somehow I’ve a feeling it will be / When it comes your time to travel likewise don’t feel lost / For I will be the first one that you see (June Carter & Johnny Cash)

Something like a conversation, but without words. There is admiration in this woman’s look for this man. I don’t know what is their relation, I just can imagine some. They can be a replica of June Carter and Johnny Cash’s imagined or direct relation. Maybe they are people of your family… Cause, Florian, there is something very intimate here, the feeling you share the emotion of this lady.
It seems, my friend, you’re opening slowly but surely your closest circles, made of introspection. Which means closest circles are also a kind of journey.

It’s my grandma looking at a picture of my grandpa I took years ago & gave to her just a few weeks before he died. Last week she told me that she now was able to frame the photograph & hung it up where she usually spend her afternoon nap. That nearly broke my heart & said I gotta take a picture of this kind of intimate conversation.

You’re right, Francis. The closest circles seem to be the longest journeys. Thanks, my friend!

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

Vielen Dank.

Viele Grüße & weiterhin sichere Straßen, Fritsch.

When I saw this photo, I immediately thought is was your grandfather. I remembered the photo of you tending to the gravesite. The portrait you took of your grandfather is a real treasure for your grandmother. I’m sure it is precious to her.

Two stories of caring and compassion on your part have been told. I thank you for sharing them.

awwww hon, what a heart wrenching picture…. people who love each other so much should die when they are a healthy 120 in their sleep, together

good days and ways, bis bald
    Ulli
