gotta bucket full of tears & a hard luck story

— · —

Well I was thinkin‘ that I shoulda but I didn’t ever leave you but baby I’m leavin‘ tonight / There’s a trucker drinkin‘ coffee in the station who can give me a ride / Well I was thinking ‚bout a headin‘ down to Mobile, Alabama and that was just last Saturday night / Well I can leave you if I wanna little baby and I’m a gonna tonight / ‚Cuz I gotta bucket full of tears and a hard luck story, there’s a bad moon risin‘ behind / And I swore to your Daddy that I loved you but I changed my mind / I’m a fast-talkin‘, hell raisin‘ son-of-a-bitch and I’m a sinner and I know how to fight / And I can leave you if I wanna little baby and I’m a gonna tonight (Whiskeytown)

L’association me suffit.

Je vois deux très beaux éclairages quoique tout différents.

Deine trockene Art eine Geschichte ganz sparsam und lakonisch zu erzählen ist wunderbar, Florian!

The focus on the suitcase, that’s it! Ready to hit the road. Not only a situation, a way of life. A philosophy. Until the last day, we’re on the road, whatever road it is. That’s where we’re making our best meetings. And sometimes, these are two suitcases ready in front of the bed. Maybe for one only night, maybe not. So many stories we can live.

And the second picture, with its foggy light, is the outside complement of the indoor vision. Hotel rooms and roads, dark and foggy lights, you captured it so well, Florian.

I’ll be dreaming about it today, my friend. Remembering old stories and imagining the present and future ones.

  5. ay, Fritsch, buddy, those perfect pictures fit the lyrics perfectly – somewhere between Thüringen and Darmsmtadt there’s truckers drinkin‘ coffee and some suitcase packed and ready to leave, and it just makes me want to hit the road again and disappear into the fog and the black lights of a bad moon ….

    great work, pal!

    Hepp!

  6. Einklang zwischen Bildern und Text, im Hintergrund die Melodie und unzählige Assoziationen breiten sich aus, die nicht mehr locker lassen. Eine feine Arbeit, lieber Florian!
    Viel Grüße,

Love the first one (mist and soft contrasts) but both are telling a story together, a journey somewhere on the road. Love that.

Hard luck stories are still stories, and I definitely like to hear stories, on a long drive even better. More stories my friend !

you must never leave me and always love me :) that said, you must fill the bed with our intellectual kisses and let the other boys leave in their trucks, drive away from us, into the fog, disappear and leave us alone, to take pictures of the joy and the pain.

The second picture complete perfectly the first (as a storyboard), a lovely duet my friend !

  11. Nebel und Licht.
    Verwischt und präzise.
    Feucht und trocken.
Immer unterwegs, und doch schon immer da.
    Schwebend und liegend.
    Aufbruch und Ankunft.
    Stille Sehnsucht und sehnsüchtige Stille
Die Luzidität des nicht Sichtbaren. Die Ordnung der Dinge.
    Freiheit und Symmetrie.
