songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

my timing is off but I’m not worried ‚bout a thing

My timing is off ‚cause sometimes that’s how it all works / Believe it or not we don’t have a choice / In matters of the heart, just gotta be brave enough / To love and let yourself be loved / My timing is off but I’m not worried ‚bout a thing / She knows that it’s real, she couldn’t throw it all away / For fear of happiness this isn’t like that other mess (Eels)

Without darkness, we couldn’t see the light.

  5. ay, Fritsch, buddy, that’s a brave image on its own. massive, massive negative space and just that tiny, little speck of light around the lamp …

that opens up for a lot of interpretation, and I guess the lyrics lead the way in that process!

great minimalism – love it, pal!

    Hepp!

„Hombre lobo“ in the dark side of the room, all the fears around, that could be a lecture of this picture. The tiny light emitted by the lamp as a source of warmth and hope, like a heart, like „her“ heart…
A moving picture indeed, Florian, that helps me walk along in the night and in silence, as I can’t find the way to sleep and as I try to remember any best moment lost in the dark corners of my damaged memory.

Sometimes you need to let your eyes adjust to the oppressing darkness before you can see the light, but what light it is
