songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

a time to dance, a time to mourn

A time to build up, a time to break down / A time to dance, a time to mourn / A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together / To Everything turn, turn, turn / There is a season turn, turn, turn / And a time to every purpose, under Heaven (Pete Seeger)

  1. ay, Fritsch, buddy, that’s a beautiful picture and a beautiful tribute to the grandfather of folk music!

    Hepp!

you need to get a tripod and sit in the chair for us… no, we see your image anyway, in our hearts and minds… and i think my seeeeeger stole that from the Bible hehe

a classy place to chill out, nice shot.

  6. Was für ein wunderschönes, stilles Gedenken. Abwesenheit, Anwesenheit.

    Beautiful beautiful photo.
Tells a story even if the actor have left the frame

Came the time for Grandpa‘ Pete to die. But the music will survive. At least I hope so, cause if not, it would mean the definite defeat of us, ordinary men fighting to get a better life.
This picture of an armchair with no one sitting was perfectly chosen, Florian. And I love your framing here and the light effects.
With you, my friend, we shall overcome. For sure.

    Beautiful invitation to idleness !
    Super light control my friend.
