songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

there’s a blue light in his eyes, there’s a blue light

There’s a blue light in my best friend’s room / There’s a blue light in his eyes / There’s a blue light, yeah / I wanna see it shine / There’s a ship that sails by my window / There’s a ship that sails on by / There’s a world under it / I think I see it sailing away / I think it’s sailing, miles crashing by (Mazzy Star)

Light is running down like wet paint. Slowly conquering the darkness. Mazzy Star is such a treat

Sailing through lands as through minds whose seashore is made of blue eyes, and what do we see? This picture of a foggy landscape as foggy as Mazzy Star’s voice. I’m not very sure of the localization, Hessen is just something that can’t really help, as I feel maps can’t make justice to our complete world! And Nadelöhr is just something to help me perceive the strange music of our mental landscapes.

Fortunately, I’m not lost since I’m travelling with you, Florian, making me discover another Germany and much more!

  6. ay, Fritsch, buddy, another great one – light and darkness playing against each other, and in the middle of that eternal game a broken tree, maybe it’s been struck by lightning, proudly defying the rule of threes…

    great work, pal!

    Hepp!

From the depth of a Berlin winter, don’t lose track of the blue eyes for they will lead you into bluer skies
