Half of the composition plunged into the dark, thanks to a shadow, is something that may frighten most of the photographers. But not true artists like you, Florian. And here you create a strong ambient, something which gives us the opportunity to see beyond the objects, between black and white and blue – and about blue, Uwe really deserves your tribute.
And Chet Baker! Who else could enhance this work of yours, my friend, who else?

A place to sit…for two which are not there, half sun and half shadow–like the heart, and a depth of color that is as amazing as the feelings a person can have. Blue…deep and dark and able to hide any light. Very graphic in it’s presentation and reminds me a bit of what Ernst Haas might create.

    Lieber Florian,

– Wunderbare Hommage!

Nice angle at which you got the light shine. Color brings out the mellow mood nicely –good choice.

    Schlicht. Anrührend.

Danke sehr auch für den Link zum Spazierensehen – dort werde ich jetzt sicher öfter mal vorbeischauen – out of the blue ,-)

wow, that’s an amazing blue!!! when i was younger i would have painted my walls that colour in an instant after seeing this picture, but now it would be too dark, and i’m too sensitive :)

Gosh it looks so rich tho! and what a beautiful minimalist frame as well, but ooooh that colour!

  13. ay, Fritsch – what a frame!

the feeling of absence is almost overwhelming and overpowering (Chet Baker’s magic is a perfect fit…), yet there is also hope in your minimalist composition, and this duality is what makes this picture so … fucking good!

(it’s not just good – it is also beautiful! a true gem!)

    keep shooting, pal!

    Hepp!

    For once I recognize a song :)
And what a subtle hint of blue it is !
Between shades of black and white, just enough, a geometric beauty
