songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

things are faster now & this train is just too slow

I feel like an old railroad man / Getting on board at the end of an age / The station’s empty and the whistle blows / Things are faster now / And this train is just too slow / And I know I can walk along the tracks / It may take a little longer but I’ll know / How to find my way back (Eels)

The pixartix folks did it again. A new road, a new cycle named „heimatlos“ will accompany you to new places & photographers.

  6. ay, Fritsch, slow living beats the fast track almost every time except for airport check ins and security lines… let’s just sit ourselves down on the dock of the bay, buddy, and watch them ships roll in and ‚em watch them roll away again …

    great shot, pal!

    keep ‚em coming!

    Hepp!

„Things are faster now“, maybe I’m too old now to walk along the tracks, but I do like this picture and I do want at least to tell it to you, Florian.
You put a black piece of the machine (I don’t know the word) on the center of the frame and it made a fine perspective for this portscape.
Like the station of the Eels song, this port is empty and it brings that blues feeling that empty places inspire so many times. Who said that blues is the musical color of abandon?

Some old and slow things are better off kept old and slow, they work just fine. This old train will still take this old dog to new places, and that’s what matters
