songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

the first thing that you want, will be the last thing you’ll ever need

© Baumarkt, Germendorf 2012, Florian Fritsch

How to fight loneliness / Smile all the time / Shine your teeth to meaningless / And sharpen them with lies / And whatever is going down / Will follow you around / That’s how you fight loneliness / You laugh at every joke / Drag your blanket blindly / Fill your heart with smoke  / And the first thing that you want / Will be the last thing you’ll ever need / That’s how you fight it (Wilco)

Ah, Florian, I’ve repressed the memory of that crazy christmas so well, and now you come and remind me of it!

Have at all costs, rather than being as a person ….

Now that I’m going toward the sunset years, I find that I still have wants, but they are more specific than they used to be. Needs are even more specific. You could cover me with every created item in this world…houses, cars, clothes, money…and it might answer a want for a while, but none of it could even begin to fill those needs.
Your photo documents the attempt to show love and appreciation with the showering of gifts…but those gifts can’t fill an empty heart, can they. Why don’t we just give what people really and truly need in the first place? It’s tangible enough, but it seems our values are just a „bit“ twisted. I love the real Christmas. I love real love. I love your photo.

good day, good way, bester Fritsch

  12. ay, Fritsch, another great shot from your lens, but the first thing I wanted was to suck on someone’s tits, and I needed it, and I still want it, pal, I still want it :D

    keep ‚em coming, pal!
