Interesting photo. I don’t know why but it feels a bit Wes Anderson to me. Thanks for sharing Fritsch.

For sure, this periscope structure must be a loudspeaker, sounding only for travelers, lost vagrants, dreamers and ghosts to hear musics dedicated to them.

Just to say you managed to arouse stories, which is in our opinion one of the major merits of a good picture. Playing for instance, like here, the Magnolia Electric Co.

Once more, Florian, you managed to show us the beauty of our not so mundane world.

kind of a scary lyric to go with such a cheery picture… you are a mystery man for sure… the picture is kind of dr suess like… i think it’s fun :0

It’s interesting that, by virtue of the depth of field, the subject of this photo does not seem to be the periscope/ventilator, but, instead is the background (houses and trees). Everything in front of them is „artificial“, paved-over, striped, spotted, walled, and, in a way, foreign to life, nature, and enjoyment. They stand in the way and are an obstacle of sorts to someone who simply „wants to go home.“ Perhaps it is the „lonesome valley“ between the viewer and the horizon. It often seems there is something in the way of reaching it.

that’s one big ol‘ horn! :D nice catch!

Na, so was :)
