songs about roving, rambling and plain hard luck & photography from the other side …

if I was where I would be, then I would be where I am not

© Hvide Sande, Denmark 2012 by Fritsch

If I was where I would be / Then I would be where I am not / Here I am where I must be / Where I would, I can not / When I first came to town / They brought me drinks plenty / Now they’ve changed their tune / They bring me the bottles empty (Karen Dalton)

Four years. 416 photographs. Still running. Singing songs about roving, rambling & plain hard luck!

you sure had a whole lot of parking space ;-)

    Gratulation!

And keep running my friend, crossing line after line, like in that picture of yours, many white milestones await ahead.

  4. Quite an achievement. One should organize an exhibition with the best of those beauties. I must say I don’t follow a lot of blogs, because the work posted there is mostly to superficial to be interesting. Yours is the quintessential exception. In those four years you have managed build a body of work that is more than just a collection of good photographs. It is a coherent work of art, and you my friend are a true artist.

    Keep up the good work

  5. ay, Fritsch: congrats, pal!

may there be many more – keep on singing!

    Hepp!

Congratulations on your blog and photos! I consider it a privilege to see what you contribute and enjoy all the images of wandering and wondering. These empty parking places make me think that you still have spaces on this Web to fill with your photos. You always make those lost, empty, and hurting places look so good!
    Keep up the good work!

haha.. going strong! :D great catch!

  12. The power of black and white. The power of lines. The eye especially …

Hope it’s not too late to comemorate these 4 years, these 2 pictures a week rythmn. Hope I can see more of your astonishing work for many other years, Florian.
And this one is part of the series I like very much, combining simplicity and geometry with the feeling of an urban desert growing in our modern cities.
    Abraço.
