tried to pick up the pieces & get away without getting hurt

© Messplatz, Darmstadt 2012 by Fritsch

When we found the things we loved / They were crushed and dying in the dirt / We tried to pick up the pieces / And get away without getting hurt / But they caught us at the state line / And burned our cars in one last fight / And left us running burned and blind / Chasing something in the night (Bruce Springsteen)

Hitting the road with all you need is a way of traveling, but it may be a detail. What I’m looking at are these things packed for some purpose I can imagine, closing my eyes. A picture that makes the viewer close the eyes is a strong picture, strong enough to impress the mind and open and open windows after windows.
A great find of yours, Florian, and a great composition to make it so strong!

  3. ay, Fritsch!

great shot of bits and pieces being carted off in the night, and a great combination with one of my very favorite Springsteen songs from one of my very favorite albums ever ……

born with nothing, and better off that way – now that’s hobo philosophy, pal …..

    Vivas!

Pick it up my friend, get up and try again, like those many trails criss crossing the big sandy beach

A whole merry-go-round tidied up in a space so small! As a summary of the life… Beautiful picture again!
    Have a nice day.
