never felt nothin‘ like a warm safe place

© La Ragée, Frankreich 2011 by Fritsch

I’m layin‘ down with a feelin‘ / That I may never be the same / Seems I’ve spent my whole life just killin‘ time / Tryin‘ to cover up the pain / Now I’m just lettin‘ go / There’s nowhere left to put the shame / And lord, I never felt nothin‘ like a warm safe place / ‚til I hit that open road (Scott H. Biram)

French colors, that’s what I thought before I check it. Do countries have specific colors? That’s a question I made several times this night when I was looking at „The Mill And The Cross“. I would say yes. Each country, each city, each area has its own colors. Here we have French greens. Which are not German, Italian or Spanish colors. Did I find in my second hand country the Brazilian colors?
And that’s no surprise to me, Florian, that this time, at least for this picture, you chose colors instead of black and white. Will you go on this colourful way?

that’s a little bit, ok a big bit of an oxymoron, that you find your warm safe place on the open road… have you ever tried career homelessness? might work for you :) xoxoxoxox love the shot, and the expressive colour!

A wistful look down that long, winding road. There’s always that urge to see what waits around the bend. The colors add a lot to this one. Nice work.

what a beautiful view. i like that you included the window.

  7. ay, perfect exposure and perfect coloring, pal ….

being inside in the darkness looking out – the window bars looking a bit like prison window bars, perhaps – longing for the freedom of the great white open …..

    keep it up, pal!

    Viva!

I guess a bit of colour never hurt anyone, but I still see the same look you cast on the world through the greens and blues
